What is this blog? It is simply a place for me to provide my own insight to current events, technology, communications, my life, career, or whatever I choose.

Connecting via social media. A friend of mine created this post about following or being connected by means of social networking. It details how he uses social media platforms and I feel that having your own social media strategy is critical to using online collaboration tools. I tend to use Linked-In and Twitter heavily. On Linked-In I tend to connect with limited co-workers and frequently connect to other people in my field or field of interest as well as colleagues and managers I’ve worked with in the past. Twitter is open for the most part, please follow me if you find my tweets interesting or worthwhile and I will do the same for you. Although I’m not fond of Facebook, I have recreated a personal account that I only use to share information with family.
